James Davies

Back in 2009, I founded Rising Health after qualifying as an osteopath. After years of hard work and studying my craft I became an internationally recognised therapist and performance coach.

Since day one, my mission has been to help my clients understand how their bodies work and what they can do to recover from persistent or new injuries. My focus has always been on reducing pain while also increasing movement and flexibility. Over a decade later, I'm lucky to have a growing client list, including film and TV stars, and singers.

For years I've studied what the human body needs for peak performance. This was helped when I was selected as a therapist for the Rio Olympics as I had the chance to work with track and field athletes, and I continue to work with Premiership footballers and other elite athletes to this day. 

Known by my clients as 'the man with the magic hands', I'll soon be bringing my signature programmes to everyone who wants to heal, reset and restore.

My mission

I've dedicated years of my life to relieving clients from pain. So often people put off looking after their bodies until the future as they feel too busy in the present. I also know that we have busy lives and cannot dedicate hours of our day to our physical health.

Early on in my career, I realised that the small adjustments people make to their lifestyle are the key to a pain-free body that lasts a lifetime. 

I wanted more people to learn about this so I wrote my first book, 'Body: Simple Techniques and Strategies to Heal, Reset and Restore.' Published by Harper Collins, it quickly became a Sunday Times bestseller.

What's next

I'm taking the advice in my book further by creating dynamic programmes that will help everyone build these small but impactful changes into their lives.

This isn't about exercising for hours each day or trying to be skinny or ripped. It's about making small adjustments so you can excel at life's demands, fully energised, and with a freedom of movement that will keep your body working for you.
