James Davies
I have been a therapist and performance coach for over 20 years. My career began as a massage therapist, where I developed a deep appreciation for the power of hands-on treatment. Wanting to expand my skills and understanding of the human body, I went on to study osteopathy and qualified in 2009. That same year, I founded Rising Health.
Since then, my mission has been clear: to help people understand how their bodies work, recover from injury, and achieve long-term health and performance. Over the years, Iโve become internationally recognised for my work, supporting a wide range of clients, including Premiership footballers, Olympic athletes, film and TV stars, and world-renowned musicians.
A highlight of my career was being selected as a therapist for the Rio Olympics, where I worked with elite track and field athletes. Today, I continue to support top performers with strategies that reduce pain, improve movement, and build long-term resilience.
Many of my clients call me โthe man with the magic hands,โ but what I truly offer is a thoughtful, results-driven approach to helping people heal, reset, and restore their lives. Iโm now proud to bring my signature programmes to a wider audience, designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free.

My mission
I've dedicated years of my life to relieving clients from pain. So often people put off looking after their bodies until the future as they feel too busy in the present. I also know that we have busy lives and cannot dedicate hours of our day to our physical health.
Early on in my career, I realised that the small adjustments people make to their lifestyle are the key to a pain-free body that lasts a lifetime.
I wanted more people to learn about this so I wrote my first book, 'Body: Simple Techniques and Strategies to Heal, Reset and Restore.' Published by Harper Collins, it quickly became a Sunday Times bestseller.
What's next
I'm taking the advice in my book further by creating dynamic programmes that will help everyone build these small but impactful changes into their lives.
This isn't about exercising for hours each day or trying to be skinny or ripped. It's about making small adjustments so you can excel at life's demands, fully energised, and with a freedom of movement that will keep your body working for you.
